Wine is produced with white grapes (Malvasia Fina, Viosinho and Gouveio). The
juice is fermented like a white wine until this fermentation is stopped by the
addition of pure grape brandy. Porto Branco spends a year in large oak
deposits, followed by at least three more in small old oak barrels before
bottling. Dark golden in colour, with a fresh scent of nuts and traces of fruit
on the palate. Served fresh as an appetizer, dessert or alone at the end of the
meal.
